Our rustic, yet elegant indoor seating provides a welcoming, temperature-controlled environment, with soft background music to fill in between the laughter and friendly conversation. There are several options for seating - on our cushioned leather sofa, our two-top or high four-top, or our tables for ten, or our six-tops, you will feel like you are relaxing in a cozy, family living room. With a view of the distant vistas out the window-covered back wall, you will feel as if you are sitting as close to the outdoors, but in climate-controlled environs.

Step outside to our upper deck outdoor seating area and discover a sanctuary of serenity amidst nature's splendor. Sink into the embrace of the many comfortable seating arrangements as you soak in grand views of the distant mountain range. In springtime enjoy the abundance of redbud and dogwood trees filling the landscape below. In summer, watch the flutter of hummingbirds at their feeders and sightings of local wildlife and grazing deer. Awning umbrellas provide shelter from the sun, ensuring your comfort as you bask in the natural, unspoiled landscape of Ankida.
Lower Deck - ”Crush Pad” Outdoor Seating
Shaded Seclusion... “Crush Pad” Outdoor Seating
The “Crush Pad” is where the wine-making process begins, its name coming from where we “Crush” the grapes for processing. Set underneath the floor of the deck above, you are on ground level and free to get a closer look at the sheep, flora and fauna, and you are completely in the shade. You get to gaze at the six -hundred-million-year-old mountain rock adorning the exterior Crush Pad walls, all gathered from the grounds surrounding the winery building. Notice the individuality of each one. Will you have a favorite? And, on days that we have a food truck, you will be sitting close the source of the aromas whetting your palette. A fun, relaxed place to spend an afternoon.
The “Overlook”
Vista Vines... Embrace the Majesty
Journey to our vineyard Overlook, a breathtaking vista above the vines, perched at 1,800 feet elevation, said to be the most beautiful vineyard view in Virginia and beyond. On a clear day, the expansive views stretch for miles and miles, offering a panoramic spectacle of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful Amherst County. Here you will feel the distance from the cities, the peace and serenity.
Nestled amidst Adirondack chairs, benches, hammocks and a welcoming firepit, this is more than a spot—it's an experience. Savor a bottle of our finest wine as you soak in the fresh mountain air, accompanied by the gentle presence of an occasional visit by our friendly dogs and the tranquil sight of grazing sheep. Gaze at the rows of vines seemingly stretching to the distant horizon. Capture the moment with a selfie or group photo and create memories that will last a lifetime. An AWD vehicle is a must. You can hike the nearly half mile with the proper shoes and some steep hiking experience. It will be worth it. Bring water to quench your thirst!
